Cookies-topia

Mom and I baked some berri-licious chocolate & strawberry cookies this afternoon. Mom let me cut the cookies and she helped me put them in the oven. Ten minutes later a whiff of strawberry wafted from the kitchen and my cookies are ready...yum..yum..yum...

Sea of Turmoil

I woke up this morning to a pounding sound of waves. It sounds like monsoon time, if you listen closely the waves actually roared! The waves turned the crystal clear water into greyish blue and even the fishes shied away from the shore except for few brave baby sharks. It seems that I am stranded here, can't go back as the sea is very rough and dangerous to travel...(I am suppose to go back today), is this a cause to rejoice? I don't know, school is on sunday so there's still chance that we might be able to go back to the mainland. I miss going to school but I also miss afafa a lot...it's difficult to say. Mom said it's a Catch 22 situation, I don't understand her at times...why Catch 22??? Anyone care to explain?

The heat is on

It is scorching hot here in the island, the sun shines without mercy and coupled with the strong breeze (more like gale) from the sea...just right to set off the incubating germs in me. I have a terible sore throat and for the past two days...I lost my voice!!! I am only able to whisper (???)...it hurts a lot and I don't recognise my own voice even mom told me it sounds like a whisper of 'itik serati'!!! I don't know where my mother gets that...what is 'itik serati'??

Everyone told me to drink lots of water, especially plain water (I'm not a fan) so mom made a point of forcing it to me...I don't like it but if it makes the pain goes away then...fill it up. My mak teh (in her cnn mood) told mom (indirectly telling me) to drink lots of water as she heard in the news that temparature is rising up and all must be prepared for the change of weather.

Well...hopefully this hot spell ends quickly and my voice will be back to normal.

Tis a season to be jolly...

It's holiday time...I'm so so happy!!! I am now in the island with afafa...weather is good and there are so many people around...swimming, snorkeling or just laze around. Me??? Of course I am having loads  and loads of fun. It is indeed a season to be jolly...
